Bonds homers in ugly loss for Giants
Morris roughed up in sixth inning; Feliz also goes yard

SAN FRANCISCO -- Giants slugger Barry Bonds hit his 15th homer of the season
and 723rd of his career, but starting pitcher Matt Morris gave up four runs in
the sixth inning as the Colorado Rockies topped San Francisco, 5-2, on Friday
night at AT&T Park.
Bonds' solo shot in the seven inning off winning pitcher Jeff Francis (9-9)
was his 1,377th extra-base hit, moving him into a second-place tie with Stan
Musial all-time. Hank Aaron is the Major League record-holder at 1,477.
Bonds was ejected in the ninth inning after arguing a called strike, and the
game was delayed for several minutes when fans littered the field with garbage
and the Rockies were pulled off the field.
Morris (8-9) held the Rockies to only two hits through five frames, but Yorvit
Torrealba's three-run homer broke a 1-1 tie in the sixth. Torrealba, a former
Giants catcher, also doubled and scored in the fifth.
Pedro Feliz also homered for San Francisco in the third, but the Giants are
now 1-10 over their last 11 games.
