On her first ever fishing trip Ana broke the Florida state record for the
heaviest weakfish ever caught. The 19-year-old yesterday landed a “Cynoscion
regalis” that weighed a whopping 10lbs. 3oz.
“This is unbelievable,” said Ana, visibly shocked. “I had never even been
fishing before and now I break this record! It must have been beginner’s
luck. It’s hard to believe this could happen.”
Ana在第一次的捕魚行裡，捕獲了一條重達10磅3盎司的犬牙石首魚，打破佛州最重紀錄。
The sea excursion was part of a promotional appearance Ana was making ahead
of the Bausch & Lomb Championships in Amelia Island, which begin tomorrow.
這次航海旅行是接下來博士倫女網賽的宣傳行程之一。
Captain Ralf Polio, who commandeered the vessel off the Atlantic Ocean, said:
“It was just amazing. We’ve never seen anything like it. The strength Ana
showed to reel that sucker in was incredible. That’s some right arm she’s
got on her. If she wasn’t such a good tennis player I think she could
definitely make it in angling.”
Ana continued: “Actually I wanted to throw the fish back into the water, to
let it live, but the guy who was in charge of the boat, I think they call him
the skipper, would not let me, because he said it might be a record. So
rather than let it go to waste, I cooked it for my team."
Ana說: "其實我抓到魚後，想要將它放生，但是船長不是我，船長也不讓我放，因為他說
可能會破紀錄，所以我還是把它煮來請大家吃。"
Despite her achievement, Ana is adamant that she won’t be swapping her
racket for a fishing rod. “It was fun and an unbelievable experience, but
now I just want to focus on this tournament at Amelia Island.”

to the dynamicism and vitality of the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour. Our players are
constantly pushing the boundaries; they are both outstanding athletes and
exemplary ambassadors of the sport of tennis, whether on the court or the
high seas.”

Ana:還沒決定明年賽程，不過我想未來一定會再參加的。
2.妳的球拍多重?有增加重量嗎?
Ana:正確重量我不清楚，不過我的確會用加重片來增加重量。
3.你在WTA和ATP最好的朋友是誰?
Ana:女生是Maria Kirilenko，男生是Novak Djokovic，我很高興他能打敗Nadal，
可惜我沒機會看到比賽。
4.妳有男友嗎? (這問題已經出現不知幾次了XD)
Ana:I don't have a boyfriend.
5.何時可以看到新的Adidas照片?
Ana:不是很清楚，不過應該快了，四月我想會有吧。
