Ana:"It was like an adventure!"

Even after losing the French Open final in disappointing fashion, it was
impossible to keep the smile from Ana's face. Her stunning features and warm
manner, that have lit up this tournament, were in evidence here one last time
as she paid tribute to her conqueror Justine Henin and looked at the positives
of a fabulous fortnight.
"I'm a bit angry because I definitely didn't play the way I can," said Ana with
a smile. "But I have to give Justine a lot of credit. She was so strong today
and even didn't give me any chances."
Ana admitted that her wayward ball toss was a key factor in the disintegration
of her game. Having broken the world No.1 in the opening game and led 40-0 on
serve in the next, nerves afflicted Ana.
"I started off well but then in second game I became nervous. It was strange. I
was having so much trouble with ball toss. I was thinking so much 'I have to
get ball toss right' that I could not think about tactics or how I should move.
"I'm going to learn from this and I'm sure the next time I will be prepared."
But Ana refused to dwell on her heavily below par performance and instead
recognised the fine accomplishments of the past two weeks, which included wins
over the world No.2 and No.3 - Maria Sharapova and Svetlana Kuznetsova - and
establishing herself firmly among the world's elite players.
"It was a great experience for me," continued the 19-year-old. "This tournament
was like an adventure! I beat some of the top players and this gives me a lot
of confidence for the grass season and Wimbledon."
Ana's next tournament is the Ordina Open, which begins in 's-Hertogenbosch,
Holland a week on Sunday.
儘管Ana慘敗,她還是稱讚了Henin,說到自己,從第二局開始,她的緊張感不知為什麼一直來,
而且停不了,導致連拋球都出了問題,更別說發球了,這樣的情形下,她陷入了一直想把球拋
好的迷思裡,根本沒辦法思考其他事情了,當然,這也導致了慘痛的結果.
所以她說她要從這場比賽得到教訓,確保以後上場是準備好的,她也說不會因為這場大敗,
而影響心情,這次的法網是一次美好的經驗,她打敗了排名2,3的選手,和其他好比賽,就像
她自己說的,是一場大冒險,所以她有了很多信心,迎接下面的草地季和溫布頓.
Ana的下一個比賽是下下禮拜在荷蘭舉行的Ordina Open. 所以有一個禮拜休息練球時間.
