Q. Was it easier than expected, or did you feel really fit? Q. 比賽有比你想像中輕鬆嗎？你的狀態好像很不錯？ NOVAK DJOKOVIC: I don't think it's easy. It's never easy. I didn't expect it to be easy. That's for sure. Maybe the scoreline says differently, but I really -- I mean, I had to work, you know. First two sets it was only one break that decided, you know, those two sets. We were winning quite comfortably our service games. You seemed incredibly relieved afterwards and relaxed. Did this match strike you with more nerves than normal? Q. 你贏得比賽之後誇張的大吼（討厭的激情東歐人小囧），你幹嘛這麼激動？這場比賽有讓你特別緊張嗎？（你都不會怕被地主球迷討厭嗎XD） NOVAK DJOKOVIC: No, no, no. I was just aware that it's important match, you know. Before every match I have, you know, routine of preparing. You know, I accept every opponent very seriously. That was the case before this match. Obviously, you know, I knew he's going to have big support of the crowd, so I needed to be focused even more, you know, and try to play every point. Even inthe third set when I was up two breaks, I didn't want to relax, because I didn't want to give him opportunity to come back to the match. I have done great. 小囧︰才沒有！我只是覺得這是一場很重要的比賽，比賽前會有一些例行的準備，我每次也都很認真的看待我每個對手。但你知道Gasquet是地主選手，觀眾一定都會支持他，所以我必須更專注在比賽當中，專注在每一分。就算第三盤我已經破了他兩個發球局，我還是沒有鬆懈，我不想給他任何反擊的機會，我做得很好。 Q. You have been playing really well. Is there anything in your game that you want to improve for the second week? Q. 你真的打得很好，你覺得你還有什麼地方需要加強的嗎？（少爺誇不得，記者請不要一直稱讚他謝謝） NOVAK DJOKOVIC: Actually, I think I'm playing really well at this moment. And this match today I think I even increased a level since the last match, which makes me even more happier. So I just want to maintain this level. 小囧︰我也覺得我現在打得很好，今天這場比賽我的狀態又更好了，這讓我很高興，所以我的目標是維持現在的狀態。 Q. Out on center court this afternoon we had-- Stan and Roger were on, and then you and Gasquet. Four incredible backhands. Could you talk about the backhand, the one-handed versus the two-handed? Which overall do you think is stronger and who are the best backhands out there? Just it looks better when somebody hits it. I guess each of those, you know, two backhands have advantages and maybe disadvantages.It really depends, you know. Maybe nowadays, because of the bounce of the balls, which is I think higher than ever, than it used to be, maybe with a two-handed backhand you can get it on the top, you know, top of the strike zone easier than with one hand. But still, one-handers can switch to slice much faster than two-handed. So there are advantages and disadvantages, I guess. And at this point, you know, you have obviously Roger and, as you said, Stan Wawrinka and Gasquet are three of the best one-handed backhands in the game. Gasquet, when he's in the zone, when he strikes that backhand, even today couple shots were just incredible. Great talent. You know, you need to, I guess, rely on all of your shots, not just your backhand. 小囧︰雖然我是打雙反，但我也覺得單反比較優雅比較好看。但不管是單反還是雙反都有優缺點，情況一直在變；現在因為球的彈跳比以前高，雙反的話處理這種球可能比較容易，但是單反可以比雙反更快的轉拍切球，所以各有優缺。像你說的，像費神、小卡和Gasquet，他們三個是最好的單反；在比賽當中，如果Gasquet跑到位了，他的單反可以打出很多不可思議的好球，今天就有很多球，他很有天份。但我想你必須利用各種武器，不能只依賴反拍。（我沒有翻得很完整請大家幫我補充……） Q. Couple of questions. Without divulging too many secrets, you say before each match you have a routine. Can you tell us about that routine? Q. 你之前說過在比賽前你有一些例行的準備，可以分享一下嗎？ NOVAK DJOKOVIC: Ah, well, I have routine of preparing. I have a practice, and like-- everybody has a special routine. Unfortunately I cannot share with you. 小囧︰喔，我有例行的準備工作啊，有練習，每個人都有自己的一套習慣，但我不能跟你分享。（這是少爺的秘密武器XD） Q. Your next opponent is Fabio Fognini. Did you follow his incredible match which he won on one leg, a string of winners? Q. 你的下一個對手是 Fabio Fognini，你有看他的比賽嗎，一隻大腿受傷了但他還是打出很多致勝球贏得比賽，非常精彩。 NOVAK DJOKOVIC: Yes, I did. One of the strangest wins I ever seen in my life, really. (Laughter.) It was incredible for him to come up with the win out of that match. It seemed probably on, what, 6-All, 7-All it was impossible, you know. He was not moving at all. You know, he was hitting as hard as he can from the spot, and everything was going in, you know. I really feel for Montanes. I can imagine how frustrated he is, you know. That's tennis, you know. It was really strange. I think every point in last two, three service games, Fognini was foot faulted. Really, people didn't know if they were amazed or if they were laughing or-- you know, it was a really interesting match to watch. Congratulations to him for a great effort, obviously. I don't know now. I'll definitely-- I'm getting to that match like any other match: no underestimating opponents. He's a clay court specialist, so I definitely want to win. 小囧︰我有看，這是我看過最奇怪的比賽，真的（笑）。Fognini 贏得很不可思議，他已經沒有辦法移位了，只能站在原地盡量擊球，然後每一球都進了。我為 Montanes 感到可惜，我可以想像他有多沮喪，但你知道，這就是網球。Fognini 還腳誤了，可能連觀眾都不知道他們是覺得很精彩還是很想笑，真的是一場很有趣的比賽。恭喜 Fognini，他盡了一切努力去贏得比賽。下一場對他的比賽我會跟打其他比賽一樣，不會低估對手，因為他是個擅長紅土的球員，而我非常想贏。 Q. Do you think Richard Gasquet improved since your last match? Q. 跟上一次交手比起來，你覺得Gasquet有進步嗎？ NOVAK DJOKOVIC: Yes, he has improved his game in general. I think it was not a lot in his game but more his, I think, mental approach to the tennis. I think he has more confidence that he can win big matches, win against top players, and results showed that. I mean, he's won against Roger. He's won Indian Wells against Roddick. You know, a couple of big wins. He's been playing I think consistently well now, which he wasn't before. So, you know, I'm sure that if he continues this way, he has a great chance to come to the top 10, you know. He has all the qualities, definitely. 小囧︰整體而言他有進步，但我覺得不是在技術方面的，而是心理上的，他對自己更有信心，相信自己可以贏得高強度的比賽，擊敗頂尖的選手，而且事實的確是這樣；他在羅馬大師賽贏了Roger，在印第安泉贏了Roddick，這些都是很重大的勝利。他現在可以維持好的表現，這是他之前比較缺乏的，所以如果他可以繼續這樣打下去，他很有機會打進Top 10，該有的技術他都有了。 Q. Obviously there's a lot of pressure, a lot of talk, the streak, No. 1, everything. And yet mentally you seem to be really in a zone. You seem to be handling it incredibly well. Is that something you had to work on, or is it just something that came naturally and you're just handling it well? You know, try to have the emotional stability, you know, every day, because tennis has the longest season in all sports. And really it's really a requiring sport. You have to travel and play so many matches on different surfaces, different continents, different countries. It really is a mental game. In the end, everybody works very hard. So I think it came as well over the years, because I have been really playing on the top level for last four years. And I have a lot of experience now, even though I'm still young. But I have a lot of experience, and I have been trying to learn every single day of my career. Like me, you're a Man United fan. I'm sure you watched the game yesterday. Would you say at the moment Barcelona are the Djokovic of the football world in terms of confidence? Q. 你跟我一樣都是曼聯隊的球迷，你一定有看昨天的比賽，你覺得昨天的巴塞隆納隊的信心是不是就像「足球界的Djokovic」？（明明是翻網球的賽訪怎麼會出現足球啦，這我不懂啊啊啊啊） NOVAK DJOKOVIC: I'm an AC Milan fan, but yesterday I was cheering for Manchester United, and it was-- it was I can say manifestation of greatest football team I have ever seen in my life and greatest football-- everything they have done yesterday was just what is football all about. You know, you have to give them a hand for that. You give them credit, congratulate. They're the best team in the world, no question about it. I was cheering for Manchester.
