American Pete Sampras will officially announce his retirement on Monday and
a ceremony in his honor will be held in Arthur Ashe Stadium at the USTA
National Tennis Center. Sampras retires with 762 victories and 64 titles,
including an all-time best 14 Grand Slam titles. He holds the record for
most weeks at No. 1 and most consecutive years as the top player in the World.
