Sampras, who retired in September, worked with Annacone during his dominant years in the 1990s and when he captured his last Grand Slam in 2002. "It is a good call for Tim to work with Paul - he will help mentally and strategy-wise," Sampras told The Independent newspaper. "Maybe Paul can help Tim win Wimbledon but ultimately it is up to Tim." Henman has spent the last two weeks working with Annacone and said he was "really pleased" with the relationship. "It's been great to have my new coach Paul over here in London over the last couple of weeks," said Henman on his personal website. "I've been training as hard as ever and I'm really pleased with the way it's been going." Henman added: "It's always a very hectic time of year but my priority has been my training, both on and off the court, and the last few days have been very rewarding.
