問：Hey Maria，我是妳的頭號球迷唷！我覺得妳很漂亮，也做過模特兒、拍廣告這類的，有沒有可能哪天妳會跑去演戲呢？答：One of the very cool things about winning Wimbledon when you are 17, you get many offers to do many different things. I have had a few offers to do some acting but is has never fit into my tennis schedule. I don't see myself enjoying acting but I like trying new things and you never know what something is really like until you try it. My agent thinks I would be a great Russian spy, so be on the look out!!! 年紀輕輕就贏得溫網，的確會開啟許多領域的接觸機會。之前也有些演戲的邀約，但跟行程不符。想像不到自己很樂於演戲的樣子，但一直都喜歡嘗鮮，有些事總要試過才知道喜不喜歡。我經紀人覺得我搞不好是個不錯的俄羅斯間諜哦！ --------- 問：妳剛開始打球時，有想過會變成現在這樣嗎？答：From the first ball I ever hit, I just loved playing tennis. Then when I got good enough to play points and be competitive I just loved the competition. I had a dream to be the best I can be and I am reaching for that dream everyday. 從一開始，就只是喜歡打球而已。後來可以參賽了，就只是喜歡那種競爭感。我一直夢想能盡我所能成為最優秀的，現在也每天逐步實踐那個夢想中。 -------- 問：一項賽事結束後，妳通常會做什麼呀？答：After a tournament depending on how I played, I do culture therapy at a Museum or I do retail therapy and I go shopping.
