[情報] MARIA TO PLAY TOKYO AND BEIJING
莎娃美網之後的行程確定，休息幾週之後會到亞洲參加泛太平洋
女網賽，以及隨後的中國網球公開賽。

After the US Open has finished Maria will take a few weeks
off and will head to Asia to play 2 tournaments. Maria
will play the Toray Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo, Japan which
begins on 27th September and the next week Maria will head
to Beijing to play the China Open.
The Tokyo event has changed since Maria last played and is
now held outdoors on hardcourts at the Ariake Coliseum
instead of being indoors. Tokyo is a Premier 5 event and
when this event was played indoors, Maria played it 4 times
and her best result was winning it in 2005.
Beijing is also held outdoors and is held at the Olympic
Tennis Centre on hardcourts. Maria has played the China
Open 3 times (2003 in Shanghai, 2004 and 2005 in Beijing)
and her best result was reaching the semis in 2004 and
2005. Beijing is one of the biggest events on the Sony
Ericsson WTA Tour as it is one of the four premier
mandatory events.
