R1 vs. Francesca Schiavone 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 "I thought I did a good job of hanging in there because she was playing at a high level, some of the best tennis she has played against me in all of our match-ups before," (開賽對手狀況很好,自己有撐住) "It was really important to stay patient. I did a good job fighting back," (耐心) "It's tough because I didn't really know what to expect because it was my first in my career, being out for so long," (生涯首度碰到這樣的復出經歷,不知道該期待什麼) "What I learned is it takes a really long time. (學到需要時間) "I am OK with it. I have a lot of passion about this sport. I certainly have the will to keep going even though challenges have certainly come out in front of me." (有熱情,所以什麼挑戰都會去克服) "Fingers crossed I am going to be able to put a lot of work on the court, spend a couple of months really working on my game, getting ready for the next year," (希望季末休息可以好好的練習,準備好明年) R2 vs. Samantha Stosur 6-0, 6-1 "So far, I feel like I have been serving really, really well," (自我感覺發球良好。:p) "I think it just shows the competitiveness of women's tennis today, and how much everyone is improving," (種子紛紛掉落,也顯示女網是戰國時代嘛) "You are seeing many three-setters. That's a real indication of the strength and depth of the game right now," (同上) "I think it is just a matter of taking one match at a time, and really focusing on the task that's ahead, instead of thinking of too far ahead in the tournament," (別人掉別人的,我還是得一場場打)_ She said she hoped to end the season "on a good note and have a good off-season". "In some way I wish I could say I was vacationing for 10 months and then all of a sudden I kind of wanted to play again," (也想度假十個月然後突然想回來打。噗) "But every single day I was trying to find a way to get back out there. It's hard when something is taken away from you. For me it was about three or four months where I really didn't pick up a racket. (但實情是每天都想趕快回到場上,三四個月沒球打的感覺很難受) "That was the first time in my life I've had to do that since I started playing tennis. It was really strange waking up and knowing you're not going to go out on the court." (生涯首度碰到這種狀況,起床時知道自己不會上球場) "After a month I remember I would just tell my coach I'm going out there and I'm playing left-handed," she laughed. "The doctor would tell me 'You can't move your arm around too much even if you're not hitting with the right hand.' (一個月後還跟教練說,我要換左手打啦!不過醫生說就算不用右手 打,手臂同樣不能移動太多) "I would have battles with my physiotherapist all the time because I wanted to get out there. :p) "Finally, when I had the opportunity to play and to start from scratch and just hit half-court for five minutes from the first day, I absolutely realised just how much I missed it." (回場上後就立刻感受到自己有多懷念這個) "It's obviously like a second career in a way when you're almost out of the rankings and you're working your way up and you're not feared anymore," she said. (又像是第二個生涯開始了,一切都不一樣了) "Grand slams are still the focus," (大滿貫還是重點) "Being at the top of the rankings is amazing but it's not always always up, up, up," (當球后很讚,但不會總是 up ,up ,up) "It's definitely not easy. You're not expected to lose matches. If you win a match it's not news. When you lose everyone is at your press conference. (大家預期你會贏,一輸球,每個人都來記者會了) "You're going to have let-downs. But if you know you've made it there once you can always do it again." (人總有低潮,只要你知道自己做到過,就可以再做到) "It's tough to say," she said. "I was 17, young and healthy. Age does amazing things to you. Hitting balls a million times over does wonders to the body as well." (現在跟奪首座大滿貫時的狀態有多接近?很難說,打這麼多球 其實也會傷害身體) R3 vs. Alisa Kleybanova 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 "I think on this quick surface, serve and return are pretty big keys to the game because the person can get an advantage on the point, a pretty good chance of finishing the point on a good note," (莎娃承認發球動作改變,但記者沒細問) "Especially like a player today whose strength is a big serve, you really want to take that away as much as you can and then you can take care of your own service game." (對手發球很強,想辦法突破以外,自己也得顧好發球局) "She started off really good, she started off really strong. The rallies were long and she was just able to come up with a winner." (對手開賽狀況很好) "She started off really strong," Sharapova said. "I was too slow in the beginning. Nobody had much of a warmup today, we kind of had to warm up in the first few games and she did a much better job of that than me." (自己熱機過慢) "Some of the other girls not in the top 10 have played really well here," Sharapova said. "You've got to expect that from every player you play and focus on the task at hand." (許多非 Top 10 的女孩兒在這裡打很好,碰到任何對手都得當心) "It took a while to get my reaction and instincts back today," (慢熱) "Michael's come on court a few times this year," (談教練上場指導) "I use it to give me a little boost of energy, not change anything drastically. He just gave me a few pointers. It pumps you up a little bit, gives you that fresh breath of air." (通常教練會給莎娃鼓舞,不是顯著改什麼。Joyce 會點出一些 地方。這會像送一道新鮮空氣那樣。) QF vs. Iveta Benesova 6-4, 7-5 "I think that's really the goal, to be aggressive, not to be passive. The goal is really to stay aggressive no matter what the points are in the match, what the situation is," (要主動攻擊) "That's my game. That's how I always play. I'm a pretty aggressive player. I like to attack from the baseline, from serves and returns. That usually means that I'm going to make a little more errors." (自己的球風就是要主動積極) "It's always wonderful to come back to a place where you had such great success and good memories, and just feel like I really get the crowd's support," (在日本有很好的回憶,觀眾的支持也很棒) "It's really warm here towards all the players. I love coming here, I love the country itself, I love Tokyo, so it's always a fun trip." (對球員來說都很溫暖,很愛東京) "I feel like I'm starting to get the feeling back of being able to figure things out automatically," Sharapova said. "Like knowing when you have to be patient and when you have to be aggressive." (開始找到自動察覺賽況的感覺,比如知道啥時該有耐心之類的) "The goal is to be aggressive," Sharapova said. "I can make a few more errors but it's all about execution and knowing when not to make a mistake." (目標是積極,但執行是關鍵) SF vs. Agnieszka Radwanska 6-3 2-6 6-4 "I expect a very tough match," "Jelena is a very solid player, a great mover, so it will be a very physical match. I'll have to fight for every point." (決賽碰上 JJ 應該會很難打) "I missed those match points by a hair," said Sharapova. "I knew I had to keep going for it and I did. I was able to step it up. I'm one win away now and I have to lay it all on the line." (錯過的賽末點都是毫釐之差,所以就是要提升狀態改進這點) "I've done way better than I thought," Sharapova said. "When you lose early in a Grand Slam, you have more time to prepare but you never know how that will translate in a match." (比自己原本想的表現好,早早在大滿貫出局,是有比較多時間準備 ,但天曉得實際會反應什麼表現) F vs. Jelena Jankovic 5-2 Ret. "It was very tough because Jelena started off so strong. It was my second final of the year, so I was a little bit nervous," (Jelena 開賽很勇猛,自己有點緊張) "I wanted to perform really well. I feel like I played good enough tennis to give her a go today and I just wanted to keep fighting out there." (想拼一下) "It's never easy to win a match like this. Obviously, it's very important for Jelena to be healthy and we want to compete at our 100 percent," (這樣贏球並不好,希望下次都在百分百狀態交手) "It's very difficult for her to perform at her best right now. We have gotten a lot of injuries. This is towards the end of the year.
