However, Team USA’s quest for gold remains Iguodala’s main
objective. NBA.com caught up with the Sixers swingman and
discussed the team’s win over Tunisia in which Iguodala’s
second unit provided the spark in a 110-63 blowout.
“I felt like defensively we had to apply the pressure a
little bit more,” Iguodala said of the U.S.’s sluggish
start. “We had some lazy switches in the first half, which
wasn’t working for us. Second half it was little more
aggressive. They couldn’t really react to it, so that kind of
upped the tempo for us and got us into transition and opened
the game up.”
