Lopez - ranked 41 in the world - came back from 2-5 down in the final set to secure his victory over the Russian. 雖然Feli是非種子選手，但在四強與Davy比賽中，第三盤2-5不利情況下演出逆轉，打進決賽! Lopez made the worst possible start against Davydenko, winning just one point in his first three games as the Russian cruised to a 4-2 lead. Feli在第三盤眼看2-5就要落敗，但演出令人印象深刻的大逆轉，連掃五局，勝! "It was really good for me because to win a match from 5-2 in the third is tough," said Lopez. "I made it but I think I was a little bit lucky." Quizás por mi forma de ser en algunos momentos no he dado todo lo que tenía. Uno se va haciendo mayor, y se va dando cuenta de las cosas. A veces hay que darse un buen palo para reaccionar, darse cuenta de que no puedes estar el 80 del mundo, que eso no es real y que hay que trabajar para subir". 2006年成績很可怕，為什麼呢?
