Singles - Final [7] M Granollers-Pujol (ESP) d [1] J Blake (USA) 64 16 75 另一個Catalan (應該是吧), 22歲的Marcel成為今年第四位拿下首冠的選手決賽苦戰了三盤,在關鍵第三盤的互破發球局中,最後守成拿下冠軍. 也讓Blake再記上一筆提攜後輩的苦心(大誤). 之前都還在挑戰賽中磨練到了今年才慢慢有機會打多一點ATP賽事這更是他第一個不用打會外賽or拿外卡的比賽 (之前最佳成績是07年瓦倫西亞八強,08年墨西哥八強) "It’s the best day of my life, I think, and I’m very happy for this," Granollers-Pujol told reporters "I've played tennis since I was very young and have always dreamed of a day like this,” added the Spainiard, who plunged into the swimming pool at the River Oaks Country Club, the tournament venue, to celebrate his win. "James was playing a lot better than me, he was very involved in the match and I couldn’t find a way to play him.
