Spurs forward Richard Jefferson will not play in Friday’s game at AT&T
Center against the Sacramento Kings.
Jefferson will be replaced in the starting lineup by rookie James Anderson,
who will make his first career start in his place.
A Spurs spokesperson said Jefferson is attending to personal business and is
expected to re-join the team in time for Saturday’s game against the Rockets
in Houston.
The 6-foot-7 veteran of nine seasons is the team’s No. 4 scorer, at 11.4
points per game.
