Parker led the Spurs to a 3-0 work as they clinched their 14th consecutive playoff berth — the longest active streak in the NBA. The 6-foot-2 point guard led the Spurs in scoring for the week, averaging 23.7 points per game and also provided 6.3 assists per game. He scored at least 21 points and notched at least six assists in all three games of the week. Parker’s award marks the second time this season and the sixth time in his career that he’s been named the NBA’s Western Conference Player of the Week. He also received the honor for the week of Dec. 13-19 earlier this season. The Spurs will meet up with the Eastern Conference Player of the Week Monday night in Miami when they face Dwyane Wade, who averaged 32 points, 6.3 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 2.7 blocked shots last week.
