Because if they've got the best bench boss, the finest management, the most important player and they still can't win the championship -- and who here thinks the Suns, who got trounced by the Spurs in last year's Western final, are headed for a title? -- perhaps the praise is being laid on a little thick. Can they really all be great? And he can also make this corner take back silly words. At the season's outset, when Nash and the Suns got out of the gate slowly, there was tapping from a certain laptop that Phoenix was doomed and Nash's MVP season was being exposed as a fluke because Stoudemire's absence was proof of how irreplaceable (not to mention how underrated) he is. It's still hard to argue they're a championship contender without a healthy Stoudemire. (Before last night they were on pace to win seven less games than 62 they won last year, which is considerable drop-off).
