34歲的 Steve Nash 今年和太陽的合約到期之後，
還有一年的選擇權。
應該會在2010年成為自由球員的他，
之前表示過希望自己能打到38歲。
能留在讓他達到生涯成就顛峰的太陽是他的選項之一，
不過 Nash 也說了，
如果能回到家鄉結束球員生涯，
那將會是個完美的 ending。
對此，
暴龍的執行副總裁立刻表達歡迎之意，
"After the Raptors, the next most popular games on our schedule are
Suns games, so Steve has a big following."
So if you combine the most popular team with the most popular player,
it would be a huge lift, a big opportunity."
現任控衛 Jose Calderon 也表示，
願意和 Nash 共同分擔上場時間。
