World No. 1 Roger Federer returned to action for the first time in three and
a half weeks as he overcame a spirited challenge from Chinese Taipei’s
Yen-Hsun Lu with a 6-3, 7-5 victory on Wednesday at the Shanghai Rolex
Masters.
上海勞力士大師賽週三的比賽中，世界排名第一的羅傑‧費德勒在暫別比賽三週半後首次
回到賽場，以6比3, 7比5擊敗了年輕氣盛的中華台北選手盧彥勳。
The Swiss broke once in each set and won 93 per cent of points behind his
first serve to end Lu’s resistance after 80 minutes. He was playing his
first match since guiding Switzerland through the Davis Cup World Group
Play-offs against the Netherlands last month and improved to a 62-8 match
record on the season.
瑞士人兩盤各有一次破發，一發得分率達到了93%擊潰了盧彥勳的防線耗時80分鐘贏得比
賽。自從他上個月率領瑞士軍團在戴維斯杯對陣荷蘭隊後這是他打的第一場比賽，由此他

"It's just about getting a sense of how to play the points again, even though
it's [only] been a couple of weeks," said Federer. "But my last matches were
on clay. You always wonder if you have lost something in the meantime.

"But I'm happy that things worked out well today because I thought Lu played
a pretty good match. He's got the game to be really dangerous, particularly

me, so I'm really happy. He played inspiring tennis at times. It was a good
atmosphere and a nice match to play."
「但是我很高興今天的結果還不錯，我覺得盧彥勳打的很好。他已經很有威脅性，尤其是
今天這樣的快速場地。我掌控了局面，這對我是有利的，所以我很開心。他打球有時很有
靈感。今天賽場的情況很好，比賽也進行的非常好。」
The 31-year-old Federer, who reached the Shanghai final on his last visit in
2010 (l. to Murray), is chasing a record-breaking 22nd ATP World Tour Masters
1000 crown this week. Should he win his third-round clash against countryman
Stanislas Wawrinka on Thursday, Federer is guaranteed to maintain the No. 1
South African Airways ATP Ranking for a 300th week.
31歲的費德勒2010年曾在上海打入決賽（輸給穆雷），目標鎖定打破22次ATP世界巡迴賽
1000大師賽冠軍記錄。如果週四的第三輪比賽他能在跟同胞斯坦尼斯拉斯‧瓦林卡的對陣
中獲勝，費德勒就能確定能在南非航空ATP排名第一達300個星期。
"I'm obviously excited," said Federer, regarding the possibility of 300 weeks
at No. 1. "It's a big number, even though 299 or 300 doesn't make a big
difference for me. It's obviously a big match for me. If you look back,
there's many matches where there was a lot on the line, so this is just
another one. It's just more the difficulty also playing a good friend. That
adds to the special occasion tomorrow."
「顯然我很興奮，」費德勒談及排名第一300周的可能性時說。「這個數字意義重大，儘
管299和300沒有本質區別。這個比賽對我很重要。回首之前我經歷了很多場比賽，這場比
賽也是其中之一。跟好朋友打比賽也會更難一點，這也讓明天的比賽更特別一點。」
