Darnell Mayberry的明星週筆記（Day 1＆Day 2） Day 3的內容跟Royce Young的game note有異曲同工之妙所以就省略(其實是還沒時間看，如果內容很有趣再po上來好了) 以下做「相當簡略」的摘要和翻譯（純粹只是想po原雷霆三少的交流）有興趣的可以看原文 Notes From Day 1 of All-Star Weekend（來源：http://ppt.cc/V1W1）第一天 ‧Pretty significant statement from Russell Westbrook in his media session today. “I think it’s very important to be able to stay with one team and stay with a great organization like we have and be able to do things like this. It’s a blessing.” ‧RUSS對媒體作出意義重大的陳述：「我覺得能夠一直待在一支隊伍、一個很棒的團隊一起打球是非常棒的事，就像我們現在所擁有的這樣。這是一種恩賜。」 ‧Hard to top that last quote given its implications. So strictly from a light-hearted standpoint, here’s the quote of the day courtesy of Westbrook when asked if he’s more of a cat or more of a dog. “I’m a wolf,” Westbrook said, seemingly without even having to give it much thought. Asked if he wanted to explain that at all Westbrook said “Nope. Let the fans figure it out.” ‧很難說明上述那個聲明有什麼更深的涵義。然後，當RUSS被問到自己像貓還是像狗多一些時，RUSS說：「我是匹狼。」 ‧Asked how long it would take to him to grow a beard as long as James Harden ’s, Westbrook informed us that he’s “never shaved a day in my life.” ‧有記者問到RUSS是否考慮留像鬍子（Harden）一樣的鬍子，RUSS說自己「從來沒刮過鬍子」 ‧Somebody asked Kevin Durant if he ever “broaches” the subject of the Kings ’ possible move to Seattle with Clay Bennett. That’s what he said today. ‧RUSS曾經打過網球。很認真的。那正是他今天說的。 ‧The same kid reporter caught up with Westbrook. One of his three questions: “Who would you rather have on your team, Spider man, Batman or Ironman and why?” Westbrook: “I like Batman, because Batman has better cars. He’s got nice cars.” ‧Also in line with a question posed to Harden in the above link, Westbrook said cars would be the most difficult thing for him to give up for 40 days in the spirit of Lent. “Driving,” Westbrook said. ‧記者問RUSS：「你會選誰當隊友，蜘蛛人、蝙蝠俠或鋼鐵人，理由呢？」而RUSS表示：「我喜歡蝙蝠俠，因為他有很棒的車子。」 ‧RUSS喜歡開車兜風。 ‧To recap, in 27 minutes today, we learned Westbrook has never shaved a day in his life, that he used to play tennis and that he has a crazy infatuation with cars. ‧回顧一下，在27分鐘的採訪中，我們知道RUSS從不刮鬍子、他曾經打網球，然後他對車子有種瘋狂的迷戀。 ‧Westbrook was great today. He was patient even though he probably didn’t want to be. He was polite even though it’s been proven he doesn’t particular care to be. The fact that that question was posed is both a compliment and an oversight. It’s a compliment because it’s a credit to the growth Serge has shown. It’s an oversight because the people asking the question clearly must have been oblivious to how good Harden was alongside Westbrook and Durant last year. ‧KD跟RUSS都被問到雷霆現在是否有「新雷霆三少（big three）」，也就是把Ibaka算進雷霆三少之一。其實這個問題包含著讚美但也有點失察。之所以為讚美，是因為這是對於 Ibaka成長的一種肯定。而之所以有點失察則是因為當人們問這個問題時，其實就說明了 Harden過去跟在KD跟RUSS身邊表現是如此出色（而今卻不在雷霆了…） ‧Naturally, both Russ and KD kept it all about the team instead of talking about a big three. “We can,” Westbrook said of talking about a big three. “ But I think each and every one of us, myself, Kevin and Serge, we like to create a team concept around Oklahoma City and try to keep it that way.” ‧KD跟RUSS相當技巧性地避談雷霆三少，而是用團隊的角度回答這問題。「我們可以，」 RUSS在談到雷霆三少時說，「但我想我們每一個人，我、KD和Ibaka，我們喜歡營造出一個OKC團隊的概念，而且也試著這麼做。」 ‧I asked Westbrook what his favorite part of All-Star Weekend is. He said the events of Saturday night. I then asked him his least favorite. Without hesitation, he said “this.” He said it with a laugh, though, and was clearly having some fun even though he was dead serious in his answer. ‧RUSS被問到最討厭明星週哪個部分，RUSS表示就是（媒體Q&A）現在。 ‧Westbrook on why he’s participating in the Shooting Stars event on Saturday night: “I wanted to do something different, actually. I was tired of losing in the Skills Challenge.” ‧記者問RUSS為什麼參加Shooting Stars，RUSS：「我想做點不一樣的，事實上，是厭倦輸掉Skills Challenge。」 ‧Durant didn’t put himself in the top three for the regular season MVP race. “It’s LeBron and (Chris Paul) and Tony Parker for me. It’s certain guys that I admire. He’s one of those guys that is just a flat out talent. He’s so fast and so explosive. I sit around sometimes in the barbershop and listen to these guys talking about ‘Man, Westbrook shoot too much.’ I say, ‘Dude, that’s what he does. He shoots the ball. Y’all don’t complain when all these other guys shoot the ball.’ They like, ‘Nah, he need to give it to Durant.’ Durant the leading scorer in the league. I say ‘he must be giving him the ball sometimes.’ But I love the guy. I hope he continues to be successful, because he definitely has the potential to be one of the best point guards ever.” ‧Horry談他對RUSS身為一位球員的印象：「我愛這傢伙。他就是我所欣賞的那類型球員。他才華洋溢。速度飛快、極具爆發力。有時候我坐在理髮店聽到其他人談論到『RUSS實在投太多球了』，我會說『這才是他該做的。其他人投這麼多球時你們怎麼不抱怨』。他們喜歡說『他該把球給KD』，KD是聯盟的得分王，我會回應說『他有時是需要把球給KD』，但我愛RUSS。我希望他持續成功，他已經充分展現成為頂尖PG的潛能了！」 ‧More from Horry on whether people are just stuck in the past when it comes to the role of point guards: “I think that’s it. I think it’s a lot of old school stuff that people don’t want to get rid of. They always used to a point guard being a facilitator. Everybody wants (point guards) to be Steve Nash, Jason Kidd. Those guards are gone by the wayside just like big men. There aren’t enough big men out there anymore. You may have one, two or three guys. But now, guys are just basketball players. They can just flat out do everything. They can score, they can shoot, they can pass, they can do it all.” ‧Horry提到還是有人固著於傳統控衛應該扮演的角色，他們喜歡像是Nash、Kidd這樣的 PG。但現在流行無所不能。得分、投籃、傳球，他們全都能做（PG兼SG時代來臨）。 ‧Westbrook, Durant and James Harden were all seated next to each other during the last two events. Every time somebody ask one of them about their friendships they each say something along the lines of they’re brothers for life. ‧RUSS、KD和鬍子在最後兩項比賽（三分球大賽、灌籃大賽）時一直坐在一起。每次有記者問起他們彼此的友誼時，他們都表示三人是「一生的兄弟」（they’re brothers for life）其實Day 3看到原雷霆三少同時在場上時，相當感動哪!!! 特別是有一球KD沒進，RUSS抓籃板後傳給鬍子，鬍子又回給KD，最終球進還是覺得非常激動!!! 話雖如此，週四戰火箭還是要展現雷霆風格 Thunder Up -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.227.65.13
