新聞來源 - goal.com Petric Back In Training Croatia have received a boost with the news that Borussia Dortmund striker Mladen Petric is ready to recommence training, as EURO 2008 draws nigh… Petric impressed during the qualifying campaign, scoring seven goals and firing the winner in Croatia’s memorable 3-2 victory over England at Wembley in October. The former FC Basel forward missed the last few games of the Bundesliga campaign with a back injury, but Croatia coach Slaven Bilic revealed that the 27-year-old is recovering well and has been given the all-clear to return to training. "I spoke three times with Dr. Paladino and he told me the medical picture regarding Mladen's back is that he's at 90 per cent compared with the other players," said Bilic. "He gave the green light for Mladen to practice without fear and that's what's most important." Croatia have been drawn in Group B alongside Germany, Poland and co-hosts Austria, and Bilic is adamant their opening fixture against the home side in Vienna on June 9 will be the most crucial. "That first match at EURO is the most important," he said. "In the past, we've reached the next round every time we've won our first match. It's especially important for our mentality."
