The Swiss Football Association and Kuhn have asked the media to respect her privacy but the coach said: "I was relieved to learn that her condition is under control now, that she is not in a life-threatening condition and that she has been given a very good prognosis." Kuhn also insisted that the situation will not impede with his work with the team. "I am here with all of my head, stomach and heart," he said. "I will be able to do my work and will not need any cover. "All I know is that I am confident that we will start performing at the right time. We will see a compact team effort on Saturday in the tournament's opener." The Switzerland coach also pointed out that even though it "would not be wrong" to bill Portugal as Group A favourites, "it is a very tight group where anything can happen". Barnetta has not recovered from a left ankle injury sustained in training. "I have to be prepared to play without him, and we can play without him," said Kuhn. "He is not at 100 per cent right now but I am positive looking ahead to Saturday – there is still time for him." Muller has just returned to action after recovering from torn cruciate ligaments and looked a little shaky in Friday's 3-0 win against Liechtenstein.
