這位還是巡迴賽的挑戰者，生涯至今還沒打過ATP級別的賽事卻在美網連闖三關會外賽，第二輪遇到球王Rafael Nadal 雖然看似被電的很慘，但以他排名261，希望球季結束後衝到200 的程度來看，算是可圈可點了，有破發，也有對抽找尋機會上網放小球畢業於伊利諾大學心理學系，大學四年都在打NCAA 他有多平凡?他長相平凡，家庭背景平凡父親可能是你在雜貨店都遇的到的中年男子如此不起眼的他還不習慣成為鎂光燈的焦點在一個小比賽中記者拍完照他還說謝謝這麼好心的他甚至覺得在挑戰賽贏球是件很痛苦的事 "Many of the players here and on the Futures tour are friends, and the winner feels the pain of his friend's loss." http://nymag.com/news/intelligencer/19765/ 這邊有一篇兩年前他得到美網外卡，得以打資格賽的新聞那時他的排名只有700，是當屆最低為了賺油錢他來打美網，打一場會外賽有3000美金比他整個夏天打的比賽賺的還多到了紐約也不能吃好的住好的，皮夾裡也沒有現金開的車也沒有冷氣，但他說了一段很棒的話 . “There’s so many guys in worse shape than I am. I mean, you hear stories like Patrick Rafter sleeping in, like, a telephone booth. I think it makes you tougher.
