[心得] Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal’s riva
he pair have won an astonishing 33 Grand Slam titles between them and have
returned to prominence in 2017 by winning the Australian Open and French Open
titles.
So what could former world No. 1 and 2003 US Open champion Andy Roddick
possibly have against one of the finest rivalries the sport has ever seen?
The constant bickering between the two sets of fanbases.
After Nadal won his 10th French Open title, many Federer fans started
defending their own favoured player’s achievements in the sport.
Federer has won three more Grand Slam titles than Nadal during his career and
there is a recurring debate about who is the greater player.

And Roddick took to Twitter to admit he finds the bickering annoying.

‘Most annoying part of tennis fandom for me.’
While he did not particularly enjoy the aftermath of the win, Roddick was
gushing with praise for Nadal’s achievements after la decima.
’10 …… 10 ……. 10 ….. you can say it as much as you want,’ he said in
another tweet. ‘It’s so not normal. Huge respect for Rafael Nadal..
pleasure to watch.
‘He lost 35 games in the entire tournament,’ he added. ‘I’m pretty sure I
’ve lost my car keys 35 times this year.’
