Valencia rival Middlesbrough for Van der Meyde

Valencia are pondering a move for Inter Milan winger Andy van der Meyde.
Inter are interested in Valencia midfielder Stefano Fiore, who did not
front for training on Tuesday after being overlooked for the defeat at Getafe.
The Italy international is expected to quit Valencia in January, though
will need special permission from FIFA if he wants to return to the Serie A
only six months after moving to Spain.
Valencia coach Claudio Ranieri is keen on Van der Meyde and a straight
swap could be negotiated.
The Spanish champs will face competition from big-spending Middlesbrough
, which has been scouting the Holland international in recent weeks.
