Valencia play down Fiore's Inter Milan quotes

Valencia have played down an interview in an Italian magazine by Stefano
Fiore declaring he wants to join Inter Milan in January.
Fiore is quoted in Controcampo saying: "I want to show my worth, as I did
for Lazio. Mancini wants me back in Italy."
But Valencia officials insist the interview was done before Fiore held
crunch talks with coach Claudio Ranieri this week, in which the pair settled
their differences and the midfielder was welcomed back into the first team
squad.
The article also reported that Inter had assured Fiore they would sign
him in January, with a player-swap mooted.
