Valencia unveil Portuguese signing Moreira tribalfootball.com - February 26, 2005 Valencia unveiled new signing Joao Moreira this week. The 18 year-old striker will play out the rest of the season with Portuguese Second Division Estrela Amadora before joining Valencia in the summer. "I am very proud and very satisfied to be joining Valencia," said the Portuguese youngster. "I hope to be here for many years." Moreira was snapped up by Valencia after impressing in trials with the club's 'B' team earlier this season. The defending champs saw off competition from Real Madrid to land his signature. "I trained with both Real Madrid and Valencia," revealed Moreira. "They were both great experiences."
