Following the tests carried out, Valencia CF central defender Mouctar
Diakhaby has been diagnosed with a hamstring muscle injury in his right
leg, sustained during the match against RC Celta de Vigo.
The Valencia defender will follow a medical, physiotherapy, and
rehabilitation treatment plan at the club's training ground until clinical
improvement.

VCF player Mouctar Diakhaby successfully underwent surgery this Friday,
January 9, in Valencia. The operation was performed by orthopedic surgeon
Ignacio Munoz Criado under the supervision of Dr. Pedro Lopez, Head of
Valencia CF's Medical Services, to treat an injury to the hamstring
muscles of his right leg, sustained during the match against RC Celta de
Vigo.
The Valencia CF defender will remain in hospital over the next few hours
for routine post-operative monitoring.
