Oliveira and Canobbio, New Valencia CF Players
After several months of uncertainty, the reinforcements have arrived.
The Uruguayan player Nestor Fabian Canobbio, from Penarol Montevideo, has
become the first acquisition of Valencia CF for the 03-04 season, after the
agreement reached among both parts. The forward, who will be the next August
23 years old, has compromised with the valencian team for the next four
seasons and has been presented in the social seat of the club. On the other
hand, the Brazilian player Ricardo Oliveira has compromised with Valencia CF
for the next five seasons. The 23 year-old forward comes from the brazilian
Santos FC, team that was proclaimed this season runner-up of the Libertadore
s' Cup, competition in which Oliveira was the top scorer with nine goals in
eight matches played.
