[聯賽]Real Murcia 2-2 Valencia CF (官網報導)
MISTA在家鄉梅開二度 2-2戰平
A draw momentarily takes Valencia away from the leadership. They are two
points away from Real Madrid and Deportivo but there are still up there
after a very complicated match, full of alternatives that could have gone
either way. The first half was quite a lot better than the second. The
point gained in the match was not a bad result as the match finished but
it probably was at the end of the first half. The lad from Murcia, Mista,
with two new goals represented practicality in the match that was not as
easy as the two teams positions in the league may have indicated. In fact
the match started off on a bad note. When he was still cold Canizares had
to make a great effort to save two great shots by the home team. As it
turned out an early goal for Murcia would not have been so relevant.
Things happened the other way around, the Valencian goal came at the very
beginning. It has to be said that with a touch of good luck and two rebounds
that found Mista completely alone and the forward had nerves of ice. What
a start, suddenly everything seemed to be going well in the last match of
the weekend. Murcia did not seem too phased by the movement on the
scoreboard and continued with their attacking game plan. They kept control
but they took risks with a defence that moved forward and nearly left
Oliveira alone against the goalkeeper on two occasions. The situation was
under control. The goal helped in the adaptation to the pitch which was
not easy when you bear in mind the reduced dimensions of the Condomina
Stadium with the crowd right on top of the slippery field of play. But
control of the match was lost in the final minutes of the first half and
the beginning of the second match.
Especially in on specific piece of play drove Rafa Benitez to distraction
on the bench. A free kick, a good centre by Michel, a change of footing to
the other post which was centred again and ended up in the back of the net.
A connection between two unmarked players and the equaliser was scored. A
new match opened up. The worse was yet to come. It was just at the beginning
of the second half and more precisely in the first piece of play. Valencia
did not get to touch the ball until they had to take the centre kick after
the second goal. Maybe the team was not focussed enough when they came out
on to the pitch it was still with the other team when a good piece of play
by Fredi and was finished off by Michel on the far post.
In these moments it was to no avail having gone ahead on the scoreboard for
the opponents it seemed to have a psychological effect spurring them on more
than expected and the match was getting more an more difficult. Whist Pablo
Aimar was warming up on the sideline Mista put the game back on the tracks.
The lad from Caravaca de la Cruz connected with a centre by Carboni putting
it away in the only place Juanmi could not get to. Another similar piece of
play had the same protagonist with his head off a pass by Oliveira who set
it up perfectly on the penalty spot.
Until the end of the match, apart from the fact that Benitez made three
changes in the line-up in quick succession, there was not a lot more to it.
It was not an attractive match and our team did not have clear control over
the run of play virtually at any time. The defence had things clear in their
minds but not so in attack. Mainly because they did not have regularity and
rhythm it required a lot of effort to get close to the goal line. Murcia
possibly created more of a sensation of danger, Valencia were more effective.
My be things would have been different if the referee had blown up the clear
penalties that Acciari committed holding Baraja in the area on corners and
free kicks.
