But unless the Nets take a serious downward turn in their final seven games of the season, the coach is likely to be back next season, sources close to the situation say. Team president Rod Thorn sparked speculation earlier this week when he declined a chance to guarantee that Frank will be back on the Nets' sideline next season. But Thorn is almost always noncommittal when discussing long-term personnel issues and was simply stating a fact when he said that Frank, along with everyone else on the team, will be evaluated at season's end.
