[外電] Carter misses practice with tendinitis
New Maverick Vince Carter's addition to the lineup has been delayed by
tendenitis in his knee. Coach Rick Carlisle said he is confident that the
injury is not serious but any delay is significant given the time crunch
before the season opener.
"He's very smart and he's done some non-contact things on the floor but we've
got to get him out there" Carlisle said. "We've got to get him out there but
we we've got to get him healthy first.
"We don't think it's anything serious but it kept him off the floor last
night, so he's going to have to spend enough time in the dressing room to get
this resolved."
