[情報] Heat's Wade sued over home improvements
MIAMI -- Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade is being sued by a company that claims
he owes more than $150,000 for improvements to a home he and his wife
purchased in 2005.
PGS LLC contends in the lawsuit filed in Miami-Dade Circuit Court that Wade
and his wife, Siohvaughn, agreed when they bought the house from PGS to pay
$100,000 for a series of improvements and additions. The Wades also agreed
orally to pay for other work, which came to more than $52,000, according to
the lawsuit.
The oral agreement was for work to a fireplace mantel, a shower, a
chandelier, railings and pavers on a terrace and an upgrade to the front
fence to the home in the tony Miami suburb of Pinecrest. Details on the other
work were not given in the PGS lawsuit, which was filed Wednesday.
The company has ``complied with all conditions'' set out in the agreements
but the Wades ``have failed to pay all sums due as required,'' the lawsuit
says.
Wade's agent, Henry Thomas of Chicago-based CSMG, did not immediately return
a telephone call seeking comment Friday.
