If the expected sell-off happens,last place -- where they haven't finished since 1989,in the old AL West -- is not out of the question. Overall grade: C- This is still the guts of a team that won a World Series in 2005 and 90 games last season.But when too many players look out only for themselves and not enough teammates care to call them on it, this is where it can lead. Gold stars: Javier Vazquez; the lefty (Mark Buehrle) has hogged the spotlight but,turn to turn,he's been a tough customer.Bobby Jenks;in a way, the John Daly of closers -- but he delivers consistently. Needs improvement: The lineup; it's an ensemble cast, but lacks collective clout. Jermaine Dye; if you had to single someone out, his 39 ribbies at the midpoint symbolize the fall. GM homework assignment: Ken Williams certainly is looking at some all-nighters. He has to deal with high-profile players in their walk seasons,a high-strung skipper and low batting averages.
