以一勝兩敗落幕的紅白大戰，精采賣點除大叔追平Mickey Mantle，並列史上第14位的No.536外，Ozzie對小派的一些看法也相當有趣。首先是紅襪板kimberiea板友po的那篇外電 http://0rz.tw/5e4HI 。 "A lot of people talk about Manny leaving," Chicago manager Ozzie Guillen said before the game. "I wish Pedroia was leaving." 再者是昨天第三局，當Floyd讓小派打出滾地球，終於結束他的連11打席上壘 (9H，2BB)時，只見休息區的Ozzie高舉雙手慶賀，即便是在對白襪來說充滿壓力的第三戰。我覺得那是Ozzie對棒球所擁有的熱情吧，是說小派也確實給了Ozzie一個難忘的週末。有趣的是，Ozzie立刻去要了那顆球。且在攻守交換之際，向小派表示希望他能在球上簽名留念。比賽來到九局下，2:4落後的紅襪，兩出局攻佔二三壘，接著上場的打擊者呢？你得到它了，就是Dustin Pedroia。老實說昨天那個摸門特，透過Gameday 看球賽的我心裡想的是IBB，但Ozzie誇我是個天才。 "I'm not going to put the go-ahead run on first base. If I do it, I'm stupid. If somebody else does it, they're a genius.
