PARIS, May 24 (Reuters) - American Chanda Rubin, seeded 13th in the women's draw, pulled out of the French Open on Monday with a knee injury.
Rubin, three times a quarter-finalist at Roland Garros, will be replaced by Israeli lucky loser Tzipora Obsiler against American Shenay Perry in the first round on Tuesday.
In the men's draw, Dutchman Sjeng Schalken, seeded 15th, also pulled out of his first-round match against Sweden's Robin Soderling because of a viral infection.
He is replaced in the draw by South Korea's Hyung-taik Lee.
