ENGLAND
Green: 6.0 - May never have an easier night, hardly saw the ball and only
touched it a handful of times.
Johnson: 9.0 - A super showing, involved in four goals, linked really well with
Walcott and supplied great deliveries into the box.
Lescott: 6.5 - Defensively had little to do and had a couple of chances to
score but couldn’t take either.
Terry: 6.5 – Like Lescott he wasn't tested at the back but might have scored
with a decent chance after the break.
Cole: 7.0 - Spent more time in the Andorran half than his own but looked a lot
happier after the break with Ashley Young in front of him.
Walcott: 7.5 – A much better display from the Gunner who disappointed against
Kazakhstan. His pace and trickery caused all sorts of problems
and he linked well with Johnson, particularly to set up
Lampard’s goal.
Beckham: 8.0 - His 100th start for England and a super display. Used the ball
really well and handed Defoe a tap-in with a free-kick that
Alvarez couldn’t handle.
Lampard: 7.5 - Good movement and passing and scored the second with a strong
finish. Could have had a second himself with a fine strike on
the hour mark.
Gerrard: 6.5 - Not his most influential showing and looked as if he was maybe
trying a little too hard. Had his chances on goal but not his
night and replaced at half-time.
Crouch: 7.5 - Replaced the rested Heskey and a decent outing. Had plenty of
chances but finally got on the score sheet late on with a goal
his performance probably deserved.
Rooney: 8.5 - Looked really sharp, hit the post, before opening the scoring
with a strong header. Scored a glorious second with a lovely
volley before departing at the break.
Substitutes
Defoe: 8.0 - Had plenty of chances before bagging a brace. Scored the fourth
with a good leap and header and added a second a simple tap-in
after Alvarez fumbled the ball.
Young: 7.5 - Given the second half to strut his stuff and responded with a
bright showing, providing plenty of pace and delivery down the
left flank.

ANDORRA
Alvarez: 7.0 - Conceded six in his last outing for Andorra but also made some
good stops from Walcott, Gerrard and Beckham, in the first half
and Defoe and Lampard in the second. Will be disappointed he
didn’t deal with Beckham’s free kick but a performance he can
be proud of.
Ayala: 5.0 - Wore the same colour boots as Rooney, but the similarities ended
there. Struggled in the second half and found Ashley Young a real
handful.
I Lima: 4.5 - A decent tackle to prevent Gerrard scoring early on but was
overrun afterwards and struggled to cope with England’s
movement. Had an ongoing battle with Crouch.
Sonerjee: 4.0 – Struggled against the pace of England’s attack and was lucky
to escape a handball at the end of the first half.
A Lima: 4.0 - His last international showing and had his hands very full. Lost
Rooney for the third goal before being replaced just after half
time.
Garcia: 5.0- Helped out his defence as best he could but was simply outclassed.
Jimenez: 5.5- Made some decent interceptions but it was one-way traffic.
Andorra: 5.5 – Battled hard and picked up a booking for his troubles. A
decent challenge forced Lescott to head a good chance over.
Vieira: 5.5 – A hard-working display but was frequently second-best.
Moreno: 5.0 - Offered little going forwards although he did have a shot on
goal, a wayward effort from 30 yards on the half hour mark.
Silva: 5.0 -The striker had a thankless task up front. Worked hard enough but
received no support and instead ended up helping out his defence.
