But that being said there is crime and you need to be very mindful and careful when you go out. I have lived there my whole life and never had a problem, but I was down in Cape Town which is generally safer than Johannesburg. So my advice is just be sensible, don't go walking at night, stay to all the places recommended by the hotels and don't wear fancy jewelry or carry lots of money on yourself. Cape Town, I know a lot better and it is beautiful and safe as long as you stay in the right areas. The games will be played in Green Point, so she wants to look for a hotel in Sea Point, Camps Bay, Bantry Bay, Mouille Point, Clifton, or the surrounding area. In SA there is not much public transport so she will need to either rent a car or go everywhere by taxi, even though it will be more expensive it is probably better to go by taxi everywhere as she will not know the area. Just make sure she gets into the registered taxis and not the unlicensed ones, she should make sure the hotels or restaurants order them for her. 簡單來說約堡治安沒有大家想像中的糟糕但是有一點很重要就是出門絕對不能用走的就算是開車晚上也盡量不要出去也不要穿金戴銀南非不太有大眾運輸(他說他不知道那個捷運到底會是怎樣) 大家可以選擇租車或搭計程車如果搭計程車最好透過旅館幫忙叫車比較有保障也盡量不要搭到黑人的車(這是另一位南非華僑朋友說的) 他也列了幾個在Cape Town的住宿地區大致上就是以綠點球場為中心沿著海邊走都是安全區另外他提供了一個網站 www.southafrica.net 這網站介紹了很多大家除了看球外可以去的景點如果版友們有問題也可以寄站內信給我我再向南非朋友請教 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 59.120.175.226
