[新聞] Suarez admits bite, apologies to Chiel
Luis Suarez has tweeted an apology to Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini after a
dmitting he bit the defender.
Suarez also vowed that there would never be another incident like it again.
The Uruguay striker was banned for nine international games and barred from al
l football-related activity for four months – preventing him from playing for
Liverpool until the end of October.
“The truth is that my colleague Giorgio Chiellini suffered the physical resul
t of a bite in the collision he suffered with me,” a tweet from Suarez’s per
sonal account read.
