C羅採訪表示，歐洲足球失去了質量，他再也不會考慮回到歐洲，沙特是非常棒的聯賽，
非常有優秀。在記者沒有提問的情況下，C羅突然加了一句“沙特比美國的職業足球大聯
盟優秀得多”。分析者認為，C羅2018年前多次採訪表示希望離開歐洲後去美國，但是因
為案件最終不敢入境美國，加之C羅視為一生之敵的梅西又在美國養老，所以C羅特意強調
沙特強於美國。但是評論也指出，不管C羅現在怎樣辱駡或者陰陽怪氣攻擊梅西，梅西不
可能給C羅任何回應，正如過去20年梅西一如既往無視C羅及C羅家人對他的攻擊那樣。

of quality. Currently, only the Premier League can be considered a real
competition. Other games are far behind. Portuguese League? It’s good, but
its glory days are also over.
