Canadiens fire Martin, name Cunneyworth interim coach

The Montreal Canadiens announced they have fired coach Jacques Martin on
Saturday morning after the team's 13-12-7 start has them in last place in the
Northeast Division.
Assistant coach Randey Cunneyworth has been named interim coach for the
remainder of the season. Assistant general manager Larry Carrière will serve
as an assistant coach to Cunneyworth.
