Feb 2014) http://www.ittf.com/URC/PDF/HMO_15th_edition.pdf 7.1.1 A striking surface of the racket must be covered with one of the specified materials and, whether covered or not, one side must be red and the other black. The covering should extend to the limits of, but not beyond, the blade, but some tolerance may be allowed. The referee must decide what is acceptable and advise his or her umpires accordingly but, as a guide, +-2mm would be an acceptable margin to most referees. This may particularly be the case with Para class 1 and 2 players as they often use their racket hand to push themselves back up into a sitting position after striking the ball, and, in doing so, touch the table top with their rackets. Thus an overhang can help to protect the table top and a slightly larger margin may be allowed. 這東西俗稱裁判手冊，我做夢突然想到好像在哪看過 +-2mm，還真給我找到簡單的說，裁判長(賽事開始前會有工作會議)決定容許度，也可以不容許。 (By MAY it means) +-2mm 是建議值，這在殘障賽事中尤其有意義。選手非常容易拿板子敲桌面，膠皮大一點可以保護桌面(無誤)。建議值，不是規則。 14th Ed.
