Voltchkov Retirement Hands Russia Lead
Vladimir Voltchkov was leading Igor Andreev by two sets to one in Belarus's
first ever World Group rubber when he injured himself and was forced to retire,
handing Russia a 1-0 lead.
The score was 76(3) 67(4) 75 44 in Voltchkov's favour when he had to retire,
having twisted his right ankle and received treatment in a medical time-out.
