Roma administrative delegate Rosella Sensi has continued the war of words
with Inter by telling Roberto Mancini to shut up, following his comments
about Francesco Totti.
Mancini angered Roma officials when he stated that Totti should have been
sent off for verbally abusing referee Nicola Rizzoli during Sunday’s match
with Udinese.
This caused Giallorossi director Bruno Conti to furiously hit back at
Mancini, saying that the coach gets insulted by his own players, and has a
confused way of thinking following his resignation u-turn last month.
Unsurprisingly, following last night’s Coppa Italia match with Lazio,
Mancini then criticised Conti for his comments.
Roma President Franco Sensi’s daughter, Rosella, has now had her say on the
matter, telling Mancini to keep his mouth shut, and to stay out of other
people’s business.
“Inter’s Coach should have stayed quiet and his criticisms annoyed me,”
she roared.
“It would be better if he just concentrated on doing his job and talked
about his players rather than ours.”
Roma were also in action in the Coppa Italia last night, as they beat Catania
1-0 at the Olimpico in their semi-final first leg.
