Angels suffering from a lack of plate discipline
Remember how the Los Angeles Angels worked all spring on being a more
disciplined group of hitters at the plate? It appears the Angels'
players don't, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The biggest culprits have been Howie Kendrick and Erick Aybar(notes),
the Times reported.

The middle infielders seemed to make progress in Arizona, both drawing
eight walks in exhibition play, more than half their totals for the
2008 season. But going into Tuesday night's game against the Boston
Red Sox, Kendrick has two walks in 110 at-bats, and Aybar has three
