The former Arsenal manager blames his old club's poor run of results on the summer departure of established stars Dennis Bergkamp, Sol Campbell, Ashley Cole and Robert Pires. Wenger disagrees. The Frenchman explained why at his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon. "Frankly it's very difficult to say Dennis Bergkamp was in his prime at 37 years of age. Pires was 33, who else did we lose? "Campbell wanted to go abroad, and Ashley Cole wanted to go to Chelsea - what can I do about it? I don't deny that we lost world-class players but I believe we have replaced them with world-class players. "These players are very young. We made a choice when we built the stadium to build a new team and sometimes you struggle a little bit when you move into a new stadium. "Sometimes it takes a little bit of time for the players to develop but I'm very confident they will be great players." =============================== 只就本篇文章我是站在Wenger這邊的 Bergkamp最近幾年一直都是一年一年續簽假設他還想再簽我保證Wenger會很高興建議俱樂部再簽 Dennis的生涯規劃是今年他想掛靴所以我們全部的球迷和俱樂部也歡送祝福他 (Van Persie比較像是很年輕時在Ajax的Dennis; 我們能否再有另一個像後來那樣有創造力和智慧的Bergkamp? 我也不敢確定,Bergkamp是很特殊的像他和Zidane這樣的球員在球壇十年內也就出這麼幾個) (現階段我對Van Persie算是滿意他會越踢越好,現在在右路也很靈活) Pires如果願意比照Bergkamp的模式我相信今年我們還會看到他但是我完全能體會他離開的想法(球員也要替自己打算) Campbell,Cole的例子也是我一點不會替Cole感到可惜,職業領域想走就走況且Flamini上賽季歐洲冠軍盃證明他可以在自己不喜歡的左後衛位置上讓大家信服 (Clichy有再加油的空間) 損傷降到最低另外我們也簽了Gallas,這位很優秀的後衛 (我唯一有意見的是他怎麼會穿10號?) (我們隊上如果真要一個10號後衛,我也希望是Toure) Wenger會被球迷拿出來議論的地方: 1. Song踢的太鳥了,賽前訓練難道沒有徵兆? 還是這場他就是真的一個鳥,Wenger自己也被表了? (也許應該說 Song不是第一次踢鳥球) 2. Wenger有無針對我們球員的一些盲點作訓練? 不論是定位球進攻? 防守定位球? 這點越來越重要,ꨠ沒做好我們可能會對上Chelsea被尻爆即使控球比55%以上射正10以上.... 下次踢曼聯也不會被Ferguson放過 (Eboue也要注意一下攻防的平衡,邊後衛有支援中後衛的任務) 3. 也許Adebayor真的就是扶不起要不要考慮乾脆讓Baptista在Henry不在時先發? 要不要專門為他的特點設計進攻套路? 畢竟在Seville他就有過成功的經驗順便挖掘克服"Henry依賴症"的解藥 ---------------- 如果要在年輕人和好用的老將上做個平衡冬季時候可以考慮再簽個有經驗又硬朗的中場,和Silva配著輪用當然也要碰碰運氣看市場曼聯簽下Larsson這招還真絕,timing抓的好最後我同意未來是樂觀的進攻組有Cesc,Hleb,Rosicky,Van Persie,Theo... 防守有Toure, Senderos.... 眼下是要專注在本季這個關鍵的過渡期上不出包(掉出前四)以後就有好戲 -- 三大規條︰戒酒戒賭戒煙五大目標︰學海無涯唯勤是崖拿完綠卡要拿金卡穿鞋要穿襪英文要講grammar 想做就去做船頭愛茶煲 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.230.162.251
