萊曼的阿積裡斯腱在前天代表德國對戰英格蘭時受傷
AW對Jens傷勢的看法: 至少需休養兩週
"Jens is out and he will miss two weeks, I think. Maybe more - I don't know.
"He is going to see a specialist in Germany on Friday. He had this injury
before but it got much worse."
鋁門上季的出色表現讓AW對鋁門深具信心
"Almunia is equipped to take responsibility because he did very, very well
when he played last year," added Wenger. "It was very reassuring.
"He is mature, he has all the attributes you need to be successful. It was
a close decision who is my number-one keeper because of his performances
last season."
AW不因萊曼面對兩位David (Healy,Dunn)所犯下的失誤而對萊曼失去信心
"Apart from the mistakes, he's had good games," Wenger said. "You have to
defend your goalkeeper and your players.
除了那些失誤他比賽中仍表現不錯,教練必須為自己的球員辯護
"You don't judge it on how many mistakes they make - you have confidence in
your goalkeeper.
"The problem when you get older is people say you're in decline, but I am
still convinced Jens is top drawer."
人說老將就是會走下坡,但在AW眼裡Jens還是位頂尖GK
