Arsène Wenger has ruled out a move for Gokhan Inler.
The 24-year-old Swiss international was heavily linked with a transfer to
Emirates Stadium in the summer when the Arsenal manager openly admitted he
was chasing a defensive central midfielder.
However it appears Wenger is no longer tracking the Udinese player. After
Saturday’s win over Plymouth, the Arsenal manager was asked if he was
interested.
“Yes, in the summer,” he replied. “But not any more.”
