Inside the collar is a high-quality woven label that reads Arsenal, while engineered in to the side seam is a small blue label featuring two Arsenal canons either side of the club motto, ‘Victoria Concordia Crescit,’ which translates as ‘Victory Comes From Harmony.’ Along with the midnight blue shirt, the kit features midnight blue shorts with a photo blue stripe along the side with white canon stitched in to the back of the shorts on the waist-band and midnight blue socks with a photo blue stripe on the top band and Arsenal printed on the calf. The shirt is made from Nike’s innovative Dri-Fit fabric, which keeps players drier, cooler and lighter by drawing sweat from the body to the fabric’s surface, while its three-dimensional construction gives more air space around the skin to reduce clinging. Arsenal have long been revered as one of English football’s most traditional and stylish clubs. The Londoners boast a rich heritage and have always sought to play football with flair and sophistication.
