小圭最後決定放棄這張外卡。看他官網的報導說，手術後已百分百康復，只是完全伸展手臂(發球時)還是會感到少許痛楚，主要原因是過去十個月都沒打球所以現在要一些時間適應，他自己感覺是要完成一場比賽是沒問題只是要一連打很多場應該還是不行，因此決定利用接下來十天來強化手臂肌肉。 Kei visited with his doctor in NYC today and the progress is very good. The new MRI and X-ray showed that the spot of the surgery has healed 100 percent. Kei is practicing 3 hours a day with out pain and the progress is moving fast. The only and last point of irritation in Kei's arm is when he completely stretches his arm. This means on the serve it still irritates a little bit. In short, Kei is able to go out and play a full match but not able to serve 4 matches in a row. This irritation is mainly due to the fact that the muscle in the arm is not used to playing and serving for the last 10 months and just needs a little time to get used to this again. Kei will spend the next 10 days strengthening the muscles in his arm and will continue to move forward towards full recovery.
