For his size, he's not a bad athlete, and he can certainly get up and down a court faster than Gheorghe Muresan. He's second- round fodder. (Tony Mejia) Scouting Report DOB: Jan. 30, 1983. Has been listed as tall as 7-6, which would make him one of the tallest players in the NBA if drafted. Despite size, is able to run the floor effectively. Natural shot blocker with long arms. Did not have a productive season with Buducnost in the Euroleague. In 139 minutes over 14 games, scored just 11 points while committing 32 fouls. Shot under 30 percent from the field (5-for-17) and was a dismal 1-for-9 from the free-throw line. Was more effective on the defensive end, averaging 1.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks. Played more and was more effective offensively in the Yugoslavian League, shooting 70 percent despite averaging just 3.8 points. Needs to improve upper body strength. Poor footwork. Teammate of fellow draft prospect Aleksander Pavlovic. Also played in Turkey and speaks Turkish and English. Not ready to be an NBA contributor until his offensive game develops further.
