Clip 1 - On Mo Cheeks' puzzling quote after the loss to the Clippers. Quick's take:"I think what Maurice was referring to was the effort. I think this team is entering a real danger zone right now." Clip 2 - Is Mo Cheeks' job in danger? Quick's take:"If (team president Steve Patterson) doesn't think this coach is under fire - from fans, from his players - then he's got his head in the sand. Do I think a change is imminent? No." Clip 3 - Why not start Sebastian Telfair now? Quick's take:"If people really watch his game closely, he's not ready to be a starting point guard right now. Not if the Blazers still want to take a shot at making the playoffs." Clip 4 - Is Nick Van Exel still a leader on this team, or is he turning into a cancer? Quick's take:"His history shows that he'll be one of the first to jump off the ship. And I think right now, he's climbing on the ledge and looking over." Clip 5 - What's the situation with Abdur-Rahim's injury, and how will this affect potential trades? Quick's take:"This is the absolute worst-case scenario for the Blazers. This elbow injury appears like it's going to be a chronic or long-term injury when you talk about this season." Quick grades the team: Player Grades - Nash/Cheeks grades Quick's take:"Telfair: B+ (better than advertised). Miles: B+ (incredible resurgence, a future star). Randolph: C (putting up numbers but holding this team down). Anderson: C- (hasn't made enough shots). Stoudamire: D (early-season slump killed the team). Patterson: A (You can count on him every night)." Clip 7 - Why isn't Richie Frahm playing? Quick's take:"He's one of those guys who doesn't want to play unless he's absolutely 100%. I think Maurice is a little reluctant to go to him right now." Clip 8 - What does the team think about Ha Seung-Jin's game? Quick's take:"John Nash is really encouraged by him. Quick's take:"I think a trade is going to happen. I just think the Darius Miles/Shareef Abdur-Rahim thing, it just kind of eats at this team.
